When the pandemic hit and parties and events were not an option Jenna decided to start a Tiktok account to pass the time. At first she didn't intend to facepaint, if we're being honest she's never been a fan of painting herself...
Then someone suggested that she try out a creative makeup challenge that was going around. At that point she had never really seen anyone doing kids face painting on themselves on Tiktok, so she decided to film herself doing a rainbow eye with no editing, she wanted to do the entire thing in 60 seconds. That was her first viral video and it did 3 million views overnight. In the comments of that video someone asked if she could do a tiger, not being one to back down from a challenge she attempted a full face tiger in 60 seconds. 17 tries later she accomplished it and that was her second viral video. From this the 60 second face paint trend was born and sent Jenna on her way. Her 60 second facepaint videos have been shared all over the internet and her most popular "60 second Deadpool" has over 20 million views. Since then her face paint storytimes have also become very popular. While painting herself Jenna will tell a story to help out other painters or parents with topics like, getting consent from the child, facepainting has no gender and how to successfully paint kids who are on the spectrum or have sensory disorders. Jenna now has almost 3 million followers and is regarded as one of the most recognizable face painters in the country.
